The MVC Math Center is open to all MSJC students. We provide tutoring in all levels of math and in the sciences by associate faculty and peer tutors. Tutoring is on a walk-in-basis only. Tutoring may occur one-on-one or in a group setting. The MVC Math Center is a perfect place to study on your own or with your study group. We have copies of class textbooks as well as several rolling white boards available for your use. We are here to assist you!
The MVC Math Center sponsors a Basic Math Workshop Series as well as some iStudent Workshops. Please click the link "Workshops" to the left for more information on both workshop series.

Spring 2013: M - Th 9:00 am - 7:00 pm (no tutoring from 2:00 - 4:00 pm) and F 9:00 am - 12 pm
The Wonder Jar: Mu Alpha Theta (the math honor society) sponsors the Wonder Jar. Come see what is in the Wonder Jar! Every two weeks, new items will appear. Guess how many items are in the Wonder Jar and you can be a winner! The entry closest to the actual count wins! In case of a tie, the closest entry without going over the actual count will be deemed the winner.
Winners of the Wonder Jar contest are awarded a free frozen yogure from Extreme Frozen Yogurt. Thank you to Extreme Frozen Yogurt, Murrieta for sponsoring the Mu Alpha Theta Wonder Jar contest.
