Tutoring:
The LRC at the San Jacinto campus offers tutoring in a variety of disciplines, including centers supporting Mathematics, Writing, Reading, and Foreign Languages. Other subjects include Accounting, Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Chemistry, History, Psychology, Computer Technology, Music, English, Nutrition, Geography, Physics, Sociology, Political Science, Art, Communication, Anthropology, Environmental Science, Accounting, and Astronomy.
Computer Lab/Printing:
Over 40 computers in the Learning Resource Center are accessible for student use from 8:00am – 8:00pm. Computer tutors are also available during these hours, as well as printing at 10 cents per page. These computers provide Microsoft Office Suite, as well as other programs and internet access. No appointment is necessary.
Testing:
Students: Testing services are available to current MSJC students who must take exams outside of the classroom setting for MSJC courses. Tests are monitored and timed, if necessary, and returned to the appropriate instructor or department. Students must present a picture ID to utilize testing services.

Proctored testing for other colleges and universities is available by appointment Monday through Friday. The cost is $50 per exam to be by paid by cashier's check or money order only. No cash, credit cards or personal checks accepted. Must present picture ID to access exams. Please contact Sandra Darnell (951) 487-3480 at least one week in advance to schedule.
Proctoring hours:
- Monday-Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Friday: 8:00 am - 11:00 am
Tutoring Employment Opportunities
Students interested in tutoring at any of the centers located at the Learning Resource Center should contact Maria Aquino, Tutorial Services Specialist, at (951)487-3481. Students hired as paid tutors must have received an A or B in any subject in which they plan to tutor. In addition, they must be enrolled at MSJC with at least 6 semester units (3 units during the summer session), provide recommendations from MSJC instructors, and have successfully completed the tutor training class (TA100).
