Over 70 faculty, classified staff, administrators, and students attended a Shared Governance Training hosted by President Schultz and the College Council on February 17, 2011. The training provided staff an opportunity to receive an update on the status of the Shared Governance document that has currently been approved by the Academic and Classified Senates as well as College Council. The Shared Governance document is pending approval by the Board of Trustees.
Lastly, the training had an evaluation mechanism to gauge whether the dissemination of information at the workshop increased participants knowledge and awareness of shared governance processes and purposes. The pre/post test results demonstrated an overwhelming increase in knowledge in each category outlined. The results of the evaluation survey are at the following link
