Click on the link below to view the Office of Institutional Effectiveness’ first of six innovative training video modules focused on our college’s planning efforts and processes. Be sure to turn up your computer’s volume and share with fellow co-workers.
This video was developed to briefly explain the student learning outcome (SLO) and assessment process as it applies to instructional courses. Below the video you will find links to visual aids as well as a glossary of terms as defined by MSJC.
**Please note that there were no Ted Blakes or Ching Guus injured in the making of this video and all persons have given permission to be used and/or mentioned by name in the video.
A video depicting a classified professional staff member’s perspective on the student learning outcome and assessment process as it relates to administrative/student services/instructional services unit outcomes is in development and will feature Brian Orlauski and Dr. Bill Vincent. An announcement will be sent to let you know when the video is available for viewing.
The Office of Institutional Effectiveness is also looking for your feedback on the training video modules and/or suggestions for future videos focused on various planning elements (budget allocation, shared governance, planning, program review, etc.).
