Anthropology Club Welcomes Lecturer Warren Petoskey

The Mt. San Jacinto College Anthropology Club presents a lecture by Warren Petoskey on Wed., Mar. 14, from 5-6:30 pm, in room 600 on the Menifee Valley Campus, located at 28237 La Piedra Rd., Menifee, CA 92584. 
 
Warren Donald Petoskey, 63, is an Elder of the Waganakising Odawa and Minneconjou Lakotah Nations.  He is a freelance writer, native artisan, traditional musician and dancer, ordained Christian minister and lecturer who speaks frequently on the history of the nation's infamous Indian boarding school system.  He and his wife, Barbara, life on the Keweenaw Bay Indian Reservation in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.  They have seven children and 14 grandchildren.
