Cal Baptist University & MSJC Bachelor’s Degree Partnership Formalized
Students can earn Bachelor’s Degrees from Cal Baptist University by attending programs at Mt. San Jacinto College’s Menifee Valley campus under an agreement between the two institutions.
MSJC Superintendent/President Roger Schultz and David Poole, Cal Baptist Vice President for Online & Professional Studies, formalized the agreement on Monday, Oct. 4, 2010 during a signing ceremony at the Menifee Valley Campus. Those attending the ceremony included Brian Nakamura, Hemet City Manager, and representatives from the offices of Senator Bill Emmerson and Assemblyman Kevin Jeffries.
The partnership between MSJC and CBU will provide greater access and convenience to students seeking to complete their degrees at about half the cost of private, traditional/residential tuition.
The initial degree offerings will include:
- Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Business Administration, Public Administration, Communication Arts, Psychology & Organizational Leadership.
- Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with concentrations in English, Social Science, Kinesiology & Human Development/Early Childhood Studies.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN)
Bachelor of Arts classes are offered in an 8 week evening format, 2 nights a week. The RN to BSN classes are scheduled for one night a week.
Information sessions will be offered twice weekly during the months of September and October.
Initial registration should be completed during September and early October for the upcoming session.
Classes begin October 25, 2010 and are offered every eight weeks.
