Concert Band and Trombone Choir

Tunes to brighten up the holidays will be heard Thursday, December 13th at Mt. San Jacinto College. The Concert Band and the Trombone Choir will present a joint concert of holiday favorites at 7:30 pm in the San Jacinto Campus Theater, located at 1499 N. State Street, San Jacinto.
 
Some of the selections to be performed by the Concert Band are "A Most Wonderful Christmas", a medley of familiar songs, Leroy Anderson's "Sleigh Ride", "Star of Wonder" featuring traditional carols, and "Stars and Stripes for Christmas" which combines Christmas songs with John Philip Sousa's famous march.
 
The Trombone Choir will present Aaron Copland's "Fanfare for the Common Man", several Christmas songs, a piece arranged by Hemet trombonist Jeff Tower and the Choir's "Kenton Theme".
 
Ticket prices are $6 general admission, $5 seniors, $4 ASB, and under 18 free.
