Some stellar MSJC employees were recognized during the 2nd annual Employee Appreciation Day on April 29.
The 2010-2011 Staff of the Year awards went to:
· Classified Staff of the Year – Christopher Platt
· Administrator of the Year – Susan Guarino
· MVC full-time Faculty of the Year – Ted Blake
· MVC part-time Faculty of the Year – Tamara Smith
· SJC full-time Faculty of the Year – Michael Fleming
· SJC part-time Faculty of the Year – Maria Keller

With the theme “You Rock,” a good time was had by all as teams from Classified, Faculty and Administration battled it out in morning games on the San Jacinto Campus baseball fields. Administration beat Faculty 9 – 2 and then went on to take the trophy from Classified, the 2009 champs, with a 14 – 8 score. Bing & Dave provided the soundtrack, and wise-cracks, for the day.
