Event scheduled for Nov. 15 on the Menifee Valley Campus
Riverside County Supervisor Jeff Stone and Assemblyman Brian Nestande will be the keynote speakers at Mt. San Jacinto College’s Environmental Conservation Conference on November 15.
Attendees will also have a chance to win an iPad at the event. The conference is free and open to the public.
The Environmental Conservation Conference, sponsored by Southern California Gas Company, will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in room 927 on MSJC’s Menifee Valley Campus 28237 La Piedra Rd., Menifee.
Attendees will hear a presentation from the Southern California Gas Company and engage in panel discussions with MSJC faculty from the science, engineering and environmental disciplines who will discuss how MSJC is using green initiatives.
There will be hands-on break-out sessions in bio fuels, wind and solar energy and conservation basics. There will also be a host of environmental vendors on campus.
