Non-riders can join festivities FREE
The Mt. San Jacinto College 2nd annual Motorcycle Scholarship Run will be held on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010.
The special event is open to all riders and non-riders, with fun family activities and live music planned for the destination location. Non-riders can attend activities at the destination for FREE.
The run benefits the MSJC Foundation and its work to provide student scholarships and other philanthropic endeavors.
Motorcyclists will meet at 8 a.m. at MSJC’s Menifee Valley Campus for registration and breakfast. The run kicks off at 9 a.m. and takes participants on a 100+ mile scenic ride through Anza, Idyllwild and others areas in the Mt. San Jacinto College District. The route ends at the San Jacinto Campus for a BBQ and live music. The activities at the San Jacinto Campus will feature family fun.
The event at the San Jacinto Campus is FREE for non-riders. Activities at the San Jacinto Campus will be held from noon to 4:30 p.m. The public can buy food, candy, shaved ice, soda and visit vendor booths and enjoy live musical entertainment. Vendors will have giveaways and there will be a fun kids area with a jumper and face painting. Raffles and silent auction items will be included. The “5 Star Band” will play oldies, rock and roll and country music on the lawn. Bring a blanket or chairs.
Non-riders pay $2 for parking.
Riders pay $20 (single) $30 (double), which includes a free continental breakfast, commemorative lapel pin, BBQ lunch and live music on the SJC lawn.
