A free job fair will bring scores of employers and hundreds of potential employees together on the Menifee Valley campus of Mt. San Jacinto College on March 12. Employers should call 951-639-5285 now to reserve space, said Angela Barbera, Job Fair coordinator. The deadline to reserve a booth is Feb. 29.
The fair, free to job seekers and employers, will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the quad of the Menifee Valley campus on La Piedra Road near Antelope Road. Free parking is available on campus.
Representatives from banks, restaurants, school districts, health care agencies, retail companies, the military and city and county offices and other employers are expected to attend.
MSJC has held job fairs in the past drawing more than 1,000 participants. Some employers will accept applications and resumes and will conduct interviews during the event. Job seekers are encouraged to bring resumes and dress in professional attire.
The fair is geared toward college students, but members of the general public are also welcome.
Employers who reserve a booth will be provided with an 8-foot table and two chairs, but they will need to bring table covering and hiring materials.
