Donate now to raise funds for MSJC student scholarships through Hands Across California
Donations will be boosted by a 50 percent match
The clock is ticking!
There are only 5 days left to raise funds for Mt. San Jacinto College students through Hands Across California.
Hands Across California, organized by the Foundation for California Community Colleges, is a statewide event that will be held April 17. Community College students, faculty and supporters will hold hands to form a human chain across California. The event aims to benefit community colleges and their students by creating a permanent scholarship fund for students in generations to come. Donations will be boosted by an additional 50 % from The Bernard Osher Foundation.
“I’m excited that Mt. San Jacinto College is among the top five in the Hands Across California drive. That means our supporters understand the needs of our students and the important role community colleges play in improving the lives of students,” said Ana Moreno, MSJC’s Student Government Association President. “In these last few days left, I urge everyone to donate whatever they can to raise student scholarship funds. Remember, all contributions will receive a 50 percent match from The Bernard Osher Foundation.”
Members of the MSJC Student Government Association, Mentor Program, MSJC Foundation and MSJC staff will meet on April 17 at Saddleback College to join in the statewide event.
