What happened to all the atoms in our universe after the Big Bang? How do we know what happened? What does this mean about how our universe is evolving?
San Jacinto High School and MSJC are hosting the next Spirit of Enlightenment lecture entitled, ”How the Stars Destroyed the Atoms in the Universe!!”, given by UCR Professor Brian Siana, on Jan. 19th, 2012, at 7 p.m. in the theater on the San Jacinto Campus, located at 1499 N. State Street in San Jacinto.
Professor Brian Siana is a professor in cosmology from the University of California, Riverside.
In the last decade or so, cosmologists have gained a greater understanding of what happened after the Big Bang and how the Universe has evolved as a result.
There are still many questions that are unanswered.
Come find out about the state of cosmology’s understanding of the Universe to date.
This lecture is part of the Spirit of Enlightenment Lecture Series hosted by San Jacinto High School and MSJC. The lecture is free and open to the public.
