Trig-Star Math Competition

MSJC's Career & Technical Education (CTE) is partnering with the California Land Surveyor's Association, to bring the first annual Trig-Star event to the San Jacinto Campus, located at 1499 N. State Street in San Jacinto, CA, 92583, on Saturday, March 19, 2011.
 
Trig-Star is a high school math competition highlighting careers in Engineering, Surveying and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). High school students from Riverside and San Bernardino counties are encouraged to compete. Cash prizes will be awarded for highest scores and students who participate have the opportunity to apply for a $5000 scholarship during their senior year.
 
Registration and a continental breakfast begin at 8:30am, the test will be proctored in the cafeteria from 10:30-11:30am, resources and fun hands-on activities will be set up just outside and a barbeque lunch will be provided from 11:35-1:00pm.
