Learning Community Orientations

WHAT ARE LEARNING COMMUNITIES? Learning communities are linked or clustered academic classes: the same group of students takes two or more classes together. The students and faculty members meet to explore a class theme.
These classes are a great way to meet your AA-AS degree, certificate, and/or transfer requirements.
WHY SHOULD I REGISTER IN A LEARNING COMMUNITY? Students who enroll in a learning community are more likely to do well in all their courses; they work together and support each other. The assignments from the different courses are related to each other and professors work closely to ensure students success.
