Please Note:EOPS is NO LONGER Accepting Applications for Fall 2014.We have reached our capacity for the Fall semester due to the high volume of applications received. We will be accepting applications for the Spring 2015 on November 1, 2014.
How to apply to EOPS:
During the EOPS Application Period, go to MSJC website and click Student Services
Look for a link to EOPS
Once on the EOPS website, click on “How to Apply”
Click on “EOPS application_Distributed.pdf” for the EOPS application online
Open the application to start the process
a. You can skip the first page under “application check list” and scroll down to input your information.
Please follow the steps below to electronically sign your EOPS application
a. Double click on “signature” field
b. Select new ID on “Sign As”
c. Select “new digital ID I want to create now”
d. Select “New PKCS#12 digital ID file”
e. Type in your name & email and click on “next”
f. Create and comfirm password and click on “Finish”
g. Retype your password and click on “Sign”
Note: Your electronical signature should appear once you click on “Sign” button.
Wait until you see a second message indicating that your “Response has been successfully sent”
You will receive a confirmation email in five business days verifying that EOPS office has received your online Application
Having difficulties submitting your online EOPS Application?
If you are not able to submit your EOPS online the application, you can download the application on to your computer; answer all the questions, save it, and email it to EOPSoffice@msjc.edu or you may stop by the EOPS office to use one of our students computers to submit your application.
Before Submitting an EOPS Application:
Submit the FAFSA Application or BOGG Fee Waiver to the Financial Aid Office - Apply online at https://fafsa.ed.gov/
Submit official transcripts from all colleges attended to the EOPS office, building 1100, office 1113. Once determine how many degree applicable units student completed, EOPS will submit transcripts to Admissions and Records Office.
High School transcripts should be available upon request.
After Submitting EOPS Application:
EOPS will send eligibility letters via email the week of June 16, 2014. (Please be sure the email address provided on your application is valid.)
Incomplete applications will not be processed, no exceptions.
Limited spots are available due to funding and the number of continuing EOPS students. Applications are accepted on a first-come first-serve basis.
