Getting Started-New Students

Step 1 |
Note: High School Students must complete the High School Enrollment Packet and submit the necessary information to Enrollment Services for approval prior to the start of class.

Step 2 |
(May take up to 24 hours after applying to access login information)
In the “Login Here” box, click on “What is my User ID and college ID?” or visit Enrollment Services for a temporary card.

Step 3 |
1. Log in to the Blackboard by entering in your username and password as it is shown in the Login Box.
2. In the Student Webmail box, select “New Student: Click to view instructions and activate your account.”

Step 4 |
1. Log in to the Blackboard by entering in your username and password as it is shown in the Login Box.
2. Select the black “Student Eagle Advisor” tab located at the top of the page.
3. Under Pre-Registration, select “Welcome to the Online Orientation.”

Step 5 |
ASSESSMENT—
The assessment test MUST be completed in person, on campus. You want to allow yourself approximately two hours to complete the test. You are advised to take the assessment one time, so it is highly recommended that you review and prepare yourself by viewing the "Preparing for Assessment" video.

Step 6 |
COUNSELING—
All new students are advised to attend a “New Student Counseling Session.”
Please contact the Counseling Department for current session dates and times.
Request High School Transcripts
High school Transcripts are needed when:
Verfying graduation, diploma, GED, or proficiency
Applying for Financial Aid
Applying for Liberal Arts Studies degrees and have completed a foreign language in high school
Trying to meet a prerequisite or challenge a course, showing previous coursework

1. Log in to the Blackboard by entering in your username and password as it is shown in the login box.
2. Select the black “Student Eagle Advisor” tab located at the top of the page.
3. Under Pre-Registration, select “When is my registration appointment; do I have any holds to clear first?”

EAGLE CARD/RTA “GoPass”
After you have registered for your classes and paid ALL fees, including the $6.00 Transportation Fee, you can visit the Enrollment Services office at any location to obtain your Eagle Card/RTA “GoPass.” In order to receive your Eagle Card, you MUST provide a valid photo ID.
