The London study program is offered under the auspices of the Southern California Foothills Consortium in partnership with the American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS) College Division. AIFS was founded in 1964 to provide opportunities for students and faculty to study and travel abroad. Since that time,  more than 1,000,000 have participated in AIFS programs. AIFS works closely with the Consortium to make necessary support arrangements. This support includes classroom facilities, housing, insurance, local transportation, advising, special cultural and social events and student and faculty support. With AIFS coordinating these logistical and personnel services, students and faculty are free to pursue academic endeavors without concern for the complex and time-consuming practical arrangements a successful study abroad program demands.
