101 Honors Addendum
Spring 2009 Syllabus
In addition to the successful completion of objectives and regulations stated in the regular syllabus, honors students in Anatomy and Physiology 101 are expected to complete the following:
Each student will perform a literature search on a topic found to be mutually acceptable between the instructor and the student. The literature search will include (10) original/peer reviewed articles. The articles will be of high quality and quantity for the topic at hand from significant science journals.
Each student will compile a rough presentation on at least (20) 3 x 5 index cards at a specified date.
Each student will formulate a professional quality presentation using power point on an excepted digital store medium. Flash drive being the most current and preferred method of storage.
Each student will give their presentation to the entire 101 class in the time frame indicated and be scored using a standardized rubric included below.
