MOUNT SAN JACINTO NURSING Program Information

Allied Health at MSJC offers several career options in the health field, ranging from medical office assistant through nursing. An interested student might want to begin with Allied Health 070, Survey of Health Occupations, which describes many careers available in the health field. Several careers can be entered with a very short preparation. For instance, the Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aid, (CNA/HHA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and the Certified Medical Assistant(CMA) Programs take a qualified applicant only one or two semesters to complete.

Career programs in nursing take longer to complete, but bring with them the benefits and challenges of a rapidly changing profession. All Nursing and Allied Health degrees, certificates, and employment concentrations available are covered in detail in the MSJC catalog, both in print and online, including descriptions of the Vocational and the Registered Nursing Programs.

For information about each of these programs select from the area links to the left.
