Mission Statement   The Child Development and Education Department provides an exemplary program that supports the personal and professional development of lifelong learners. Learning opportunities occur in a research-based, inclusive, responsive environment that integrates a variety of programs and services. The program prepares students to enter the workforce, obtain a formal degree, transfer to a four-year institution, and to advocate for children and families in a rapidly changing and highly diverse society.
