ANNOUNCEMENTS
Attention MSJC Career Technical Education (CTE) Students - We need your help in order to secure future grant funding for our programs!
If you are currently enrolled in a CTE class, please check your MSJC Student Email Account for a message from CTE with the subject: CTE Student Survey. The email contains a web link for a short survey that we need you to take.
By taking this survey, you will help us to secure future grant funding to improve, expand and enhance our CTE programs by purchasing new technology, new instructional supplies and new equipment. Our goal is to offer a wide variety of vocational and technical programs for our students that prepare them for high skill, high wage, and in-demand jobs by using industry standard equipment and technology.
Services offered to our CTE students with this grant (Carl D. Perkins CTE Act) include (CTE) counseling, Tutors at Large and peer tutoring provided in classrooms and labs. The grant has also supported the purchase of new technology and equipment like:
· Ultrasound machines for our Diagnostic Sonography Program
· Cameras and lighting for Photography
· Tools for Automotive Technology
· A new sound mixing board for Audio Video Technology
· Fingerprint equipment for Administration of Justice
Although it is voluntary, we hope you will take a few minutes to complete the survey. Each response = GRANT DOLLARS.
If we do not get enough responses, these valuable services and resources may be reduced or eliminated in the future.
Thank you for your time and participation!
All information is kept completely confidential and will only be used for grant purposes.
