Prerequisite: DAN 121 or equivalent experience
This intermediate level course is a further study of classical ballet dance techniques of ballet masters such as Vaganova, Cecchetti, and Balanchine, as well as contemporary ballet innovators. Historical and theoretical understandings of ballet technique are a primary focus, as well as the development of the dancers technical and expressive skills. May be taken 4 times for credit.
