DAN 201 Course Description

.5-1 units - CSU/UC
Prerequisite: None

Sequential masters' classes*, each eight hours in duration, introducing different cultural traditions of dance. Emphasis on movement, vocabulary, rhythms and styles of each dance form, along with its cultural context and geography. May be taken for a total of 4.0 units for credit.
