Personal Description:

I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, am the mother of five children (ages 34 to 12 years old!), have held a diversity of jobs while growing up, raising children, and going to college, and am, above all else, a teacher. My favorites include writing, water sports, and snow skiing. I love music of all kinds, am completely interested in how people learn and am in constant awe of how the human brain perceives the world around it.
