On Thursday MSJC jumped out to a 8-0 lead and cruised to an 8-2 victory, behind a complete game on the mound from Zevon Benoit.  Benoit earned his conference leading 9th win of the season, improving to 9-3.  Bryan Derzern, Josh Minder, Nick Gonzales, and Ben Moreno each had 3 hits in the victory.  Moreno and Minder both picked up 2 RBIs as MSJC broke the game open with five runs in the top of the 3rd.

Saturday the Eagles got a complete game shut out from freshman pitcher Johnny Hernandez and the bats came alive once again as MSJC won 11-0.  Hernandez allowed just 5 hits and walked only one while getting seven strike outs.  Jake Pulcheon had 3 hits and 2 RBIs on the offensive side of the ball as the Eagles blew open a close game with 8 runs in the bottom of the 6th.  The big hit in that inning was a bases loaded triple by Gonzales.  JT Brown, Minder, and Moreno all had 2 hits in the game with Moreno picking up two more RBIs.
