Eagle Basketball Players, Coach Earn Conference Honors

Three MSJC men's basketball players earned First Team All Foothill Conference honors this season and head coach Patrick Springer was named Co-Coach of the Year.  Two other Eagle players were named Honorable Mention.joshbarstow (2).jpg

Montreal Harris, Josh Gouch, and Taylor Bell all earned First Team honors as they helped the Eagles to the Foothill Conference Championship.  Gouch led the Eagles in scoring fmontrealvssbvc.jpgor the season at 15.1 points per game he was also second on the team in rebounds at 7 a game.  Harris was the team's leading rebounder at 8.8 a game while scoring 14 points a night.  Taylor Bell averaged 11.3 points per game for the season and made 58 threes on the year for the Eagles who finished the season 23-6.

Coach Patrick Springer was honored as the Co-Coach of the Year by the conference an award he shared with Quincy Brewer of San Bernardino Valley.  Anthony Dees and Alex Wilson were named Honorable Mention All Conference.  Dees made a team high 79 three point baskets while Wilson led the team in assists with 100 on the year.
