Eagle Men Fall in Final Regular Season Game
The MSJC men's basketball team got off to a slow start on Thursday night and could not recover as they fell in their final regular season game at home to San Bernardino Valley 94-56.
The Eagles missed 9 of their first 10 shots and only made four three point shots on the evening as they trailed 49-29 at the half. The Wolverines by contrast shot 50% from the field on the evening including going 11 of 22 from three point range in the victory. MSJC also struggled with turnovers all night as they finished the game with 23.
A.J Walton was the lone Eagle to reach double figures in scoring with 11 points he also had a team high 5 rebounds. David Thompson and DeAndre Snedecor finished the night with 8 points a piece.
The loss concluded the regular season for MSJC at 14-15 overall, they finished tied for second place in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference North Division with a conference mark of 6-4. San Bernardino finished the regular season at 26-4 and 10-0.
MSJC will find out Monday afternoon if they are selected for the CCCAA Southern California Regional Tournament.
