MSJC's Williams Signs With Cal State Fullerton

MSJC men's basketball player Samuel Williams signed a National Letter of Intent today to continue his playing career at Cal State Fullerton.samwilliamsigns.jpg

Williams is coming off a season where he led the State in scoring at 25.7 points per game while leading MSJC to their second straight Pacific Coast Athletic Conference North Division title and an overall record of 23-8.  Williams also earned Player of the Year honors in the PCAC North and was named First Team All State.  Williams is a graduate of Hug High School in Reno, Nevada.  Williams also earned first team all conference honors during his freshman season in 2013-14.

Williams is the Eagles second straight conference Player of the Year joining former Eagle and current Oregon Duck standout Dwayne Benjamin.  "I want to thank the coaching staff here at MSJC for all the help they have given me and I also want to thank all of the professors here at Mt. San Jacinto for giving me a chance."
