MSJC Men Beat Victor Valley
The MSJC men's basketball team went on the road and got a key Foothill Conference victory on Wednesday 66-53 over Victor Valley College.
The Eagles, who led through out the game used a balanced offensive attack for the win. MSJC built a 31-25 halftime lead before pushing the lead to as much as 20 midway through the second half. Jaree Crawford led the Eagles with 16 points and 8 rebounds, while Kris Brooks added 9 points and 7 boards. Dakota Downs led MSJC in rebounding with 12 to go along with 8 points, Jammall Clark also added 8 points.
The win improved the Eagles to 19-8 on the season and 8-5 in Foothill Conference play. Victor Valley fell to 3-21 and 1-12. MSJC wraps up the regular season on Saturday afternoon when they host Antelope Valley College at 3 pm. Saturday will mark the final regular season game for the six MSJC sophomores.
