Eagle Golfer Third in First PCAC Match

The MSJC men's golf team opened Pacific Coast Athletic Conference play on Monday by shooting an even 400 on their way to finishing in third place.nicmedeiros2015.jpg

The Eagles were led by Nicholas Medeiros who shot a 77 on Monday at the Spring Valley Lakes Country Club in Victorville.  Cesar Cruz and Colin McNie added 79's.  Rocky Thornton shot an 81 for MSJC while Erick Liscio carded an 84.  Josh Pagan rounded out the Eagles day with an 87.

College of the Desert and Palomar tied for first place in the opening conference match as both teams shot 376.  Victor Valley (404), El Camino (418), and Cuyamaca (scratch) rounded out the standings.

The Eagles will continue PCAC play when they travel to North San Diego to play at legendary Torrey Pines on Wednesday.



Nicholas Medeiros shot a team best 77 on Monday for the MSJC men's golf team as the Eagles finished third in their first Pacific Coast Athletic Conference match of the season.
