This tournament was played with a two man "better ball" format.  Each player was to play their own golf ball and the best score would count for the team.  Nicholas Medeiros and Rocky Thornton teamed up to shoot a 66 to lead the way for the Eagles while Erick Liscio and Cesar Cruz were right behind them with a 67.  The team of Colin McNie and Jake Carlson srockythornton2015.jpghot a 75 for MSJC.  MSJC's total of 208 was good enough for fourth place and was just three shots behind College of the Desert who finished third.  Riverside City won the event and Orange Coast took second.

Liscio was the star of the day for the Eagles as individually he would of recorded a 69.  Medeiros was next with 72.  The Eagles will be back in action Wednesday when they host Riverside, the defending state champions, in a dual meet at Soboba Springs Country Club.  Tomorrow's match is set to tee off at 11:30 AM.
