Eagle Golfers Move into 2nd Place at PCAC Match 8

The MSJC men's golf team finished second on the day and moved into second place alone in the conference standings by shooting a 377 on Wednesday at Sycuan Golf Club in El Cajon.

The Eagles were led by Richard Schweitzer who shot a team best 72 on the day.  Nicholas Medeiros followed with a 75 while Erick Liscio shot 76.  Nathan Brady and Sam Thomson each turned in 77's for the Eagles and Cesar Cruz rounded out MSJC's day with an 81.

The Eagles finished ahead of third place El Camino (384), fourth place Cuyamaca (387), fifth place Palomar (390), and sixth place Victor Valley (409).  MSJC fell short of beating College of the Desert who posted a team score of 368.

Wednesday's performance moved the Eagles ahead of Palomar College into second place in the conference standings after eight Pacific Coast Athletic Conference matches.  These teams will meet for PCAC match number nine next Wednesday April 20th at Yucaipa Golf Club at 11 am.
