Eagle Golfers Third in PCAC Match

The MSJC men's golf team recorded a 2-2 record in their second Pacific Coast Athletic Conference match of the season besting Cuyamaca and El Camino, but coming up short of Palomar and College of the Desert.

The Eagles shot a team score of 384 on the day, 8 shots behind Desert and just five shots behind Palomar.  Richard Schweitzer led the Eagles with a 75 on the afternoon while Kieran Blundell, Vincent Brunet, and Sam Proctor all shot 76's.  Austin Crenshaw turned in an 81 for MSJC while Bernard Campos shot 83 at El Dorado Golf Club.

Through two conference matches the Eagles are currently tied for second place with Palomar with a record of 5-3.  MSJC returns to action on Wednesday with PCAC match #3 at Rancho Bernardo Country Club.
