Eagles Shoot 381, Place Second in PCAC Home Match
The MSJC men's golf team shot a 381 on Wednesday to finish second in the third Pacific Coast Athletic Conference match of the season held at Soboba Springs Country Club.
Richard Schweitzer continued to be the Eagles' hottest golfer as he took medalist honors for the second straight conference match by shooting a 71. Nathan Brady and Sam Thomson also played well on Wednesday at the Eagles home course as each turned in 74's on the afternoon. Nicholas Medeiros carded an 80 for the Eagles while Erick Liscio shot 82 and Cesar Cruz rounded out MSJC's day with an 87.
College of the Desert won the event with a team score of 376 to remain unbeaten in PCAC play. Palomar was third at 390, followed by Cuyamaca (402), El Camino (429), and Victor Valley (430). MSJC is in second place in the PCAC standings through the first three conference matches. These six teams will play next at Cottonwood Golf Club in El Cajon on Monday March 28th in PCAC match number four.
