MSJC Golf Team 3rd in Second PCAC Match
The MSJC men's golf team shot a 413 on Monday to finish third in their second Pacific Coast Athletic Conference match of the year.
The Eagles were led by Richard Schweitzer who was the event's medalist on the day with a 74. Erick Liscio was next for MSJC with an 82 while Nicholas Medeiros turned in an 84 at Bear Creek Golf Club in Murrieta. Cesar Cruz had and 85 for the Eagles while Nathan Brady had 88 and Jordan Reed struggled with a 99 to round out MSJC's scoring for the day.
The 413 allowed the Eagles to finish ahead of Cuyamaca, El Camino, and Victor Valley. MSJC finished four strokes behind second place Palomar and College of the Desert won the match by shooting a 391.
After two PCAC matches the Eagles are now 7-3 in conference play. The Eagles will be back in action on Wednesday when they host PCAC Match #3 at Soboba Springs Country Club. Tee times are set to begin at 10:30 AM on Wednesday.
Nicholas Medeiros shot an 84 on Monday at Bear Creek Golf Club in Murrieta to help the MSJC men's golf team to a third place finish in PCAC Match #2 for the season. The Eagles who are currently 7-3 in conference play will host PCAC Match #3 at Soboba Country Club on Wednesday.
