Men's Golf Picks Up a Pair of 3rd Place Finishes

Monday the Eagles shot a team score of 395 at El Dorado Country Club to finish behind Palomar (365) and College of the Desert (382).  Sam Proctor turned in the team's low score of the day with a 77, followed by Tyler Galleher with a 78, and Kieran Blundell with a 79.  Tyler Leone carded an 80 with Bernard Campos turning in an 81.  Tini Hawea rounded out the scoring for the Eagles with an 88.  MSJC finished ahead of El Camino and Cuyamaca on the day.

On Wednesday MSJC shot a team score of 389 to again finish third.  This time it was College of the Desert who shot the winning team score with a 367, Palomar was second at 377.  Galleher was the Eagle's low man Wednesday with a 74.  Blundell was next with a 75 while Leone shot 78.  Proctor had an 80 for the Eagles while Campos shot 82 and Hawea turned in an 84.

These two matches follow a second place finish for MSJC last Wednesday wher Blundell won medalist honors with a 70 at The Gary Player course at PGA West in LaQuin​ta.  The Eagles will return to action next Wednesday April 4th when they play at Pala Mesa Golf Club.

MSJC's Kieran Blundell was medalist last week at PCAC match #3 played at the Gary Player Course at PGA West.  Blundell and his teammates are currently in third place in the PCAC Standings after 5 conference matches.
