Men's Golf Shoots 368, Clinches Spot in Regionals

The MSJC men's golf team shot a 368 on Wednesday at Yucaipa Golf Club and finished second in Pacific Coast Athletic Conference #9 and also clinched a spot in the Southern California nathanbrady9-16.jpg

The Eagles received a stand out performance by Nathan Brady who shot a 67 on the day, good enough to take home medalist honors in the event.  Nicholas Medeiros followed with a 73 and Richard Schweitzer turned in a 75 for the Eagles.  Erick Liscio and Sam Thomson both posted 77's and Cesar Cruz had an 81 for MSJC.

The Eagles 368 was second behind College of the Desert's 353, but ahead of Palomar (371), Cuyamaca (385), El Camino (391), and Victor Valley (NS).  The second place finish assured the Eagles team of a top three finish in the conference and the team will advance to the So Cal Regional to be held on May 9th at Bear Creek Country Club in Murrieta.

There is one more PCAC match remaining on the schedule and it is a 36 hole event to be played once again at Yucaipa Golf Club next Monday.

Nathan Brady shot a 67 on Wednesday to earn medalist honors at PCAC match #9 played at Yucaipa Golf Club.  The Eagles finished second as a team on the day clinching a spot in the CCCAA Southern California Regionals.
