Men's Golf Takes Third Again in PCAC Match

The MSJC men's golf team has been nothing if not consistent so far in Pacific Coast Athletic Conference play as they finished third for the fourth straight time in conference play on Wednesday.cesarcruz2015.jpg

Wednesday the Eagles shot 395 at Lakewood Country Club led by Nicholas Medeiros who carded a team best 77.  Erick Liscio and Colin McNie both put up 78's.  Cesar Cruz was next with a 79 for MSJC while Rocky Thornton added an 83 and Tom Wiggin shot 86.

MSJC finished ahead of Victor Valley, El Camino, and Cuyamaca, but fell short of beating Palomar and College of the Desert.  The Eagles now have a record of 12-8 in PCAC matches.

The Eagles will take a quick break from conference play on Monday when they take part in the Southern California Preview Tournament to be played at Olivas Links.


Cesar Cruz shot a 79 on Wednesday to help the MSJC golf team to a 3-2 record in PCAC Match #4 held at Lakewood Country Club.  The Eagles have finished third in each of the first four conference matches.
