Men's Golf Team Returns to PCAC Action at Home

The MSJC men's golf team returned to Pacific Coast Athletic Conference play on Monday as they hosted conference match #5 at Soboba Springs Country Club.  The Eagles finished third.medeiroshomematch.jpg

The Eagles solidified their hold on third place in the standings by scoring better than Cuyumaca, Victor Valley, and El Camino, but came up short of second place College of the Desert and first place Palomar.  Nicholas Medeiros carded the best score of the day for MSJC shooting a 76 followed closely by Colin McNie who fired a 77.  Rocky Thornton was next for the Eagles with an 82, while Cesar Cruz and Josh Pagan both put up 85's.  Erick Liscio rounded out the Eagles scoring with an 87.

MSJC's 405 team total trailed only COD (387) and Palomar (383) for the day.  After five conference matches the Eagles stand with a record of 15-10 in the PCAC standings.  On Monday Conner Sims of Palomar recorded the best individual score of the day with a 72. 

MSJC will return to action on Wednesday April 1st when Palomar hosts PCAC match #6 at Twin Oaks Country Club.
