Men's Golf Team Third After Day 1 of Tee Off Classic
The MSJC men's golf team shot a 401 on Monday afternoon to sit in third place after the first round of the Tee Off Classic at Los Serranos Country Club.
The Eagles played on the very challenging Los Serranos South Course in Chino Hills where the lay out stretches over 7,100 yards and is a par 74. Erick Liscio led the way for MSJC with a 76. Nicholas Medeiros and Colin McNie both fired 80's for the Eagles while Cesar Cruz carded an 82, Josh Pagan had an 83, and Rocky Thornton recorded a 91.
The Eagles are chasing College of the Desert and Palomar, but are ahead of Victor Valley and El Camino in the two day tournament. The second round will be played at Los Serranos on Wednesday.
Colin McNie shot an 80 on Monday on the South Course at Los Serranos Country Club in Chino Hills to help MSJC into third position after the first round of the Tee Off Classic. The Eagles will compete in the second and final round on Wednesday.
