Eagle Tennis Falls in Close Match at Ventura

#2 MSJC Men's Tennis Falls to Ventura College in a very intense and competitive match this past Saturday afternoon at Ventura College. The eagles started the match very strong and seemed to be in control of singles play but the momentum took a huge swing in favor of the host college, and victory fell out of reach. Nevertheless, everyone in the singles rotation played with plenty of heart and desire just coming up a bit short. This match-up was a nice preview to what could be a southern California championship final at the end of the season. Emmanuel Mensah and Gabor Toth remained undefeated on the season in both singles and doubles. The men's team can hold their heads high with confidence heading into the Foothill Conference matches beginning this Tuesday at home against Victor Valley College.
Non-Conference Dual Match played on 2/20/10 @ Ventura College
