Former Eagle Flowers to Play in NCAA Tournament

Former MSJC basketball standout Dejuan Flowers and his new team North Dakota State qualified for the NCAA Tournament on Tuesday night. Flowers played 14 minutes in the championship of the Summit League Tournament scoring 6 points and pulling down 4 rebounds. Flowers has played in all 32 of the Bison's games this season helping them to a 26-6 record.

Dejuan FlowersWhile at MSJC Flowers averaged double figures scoring and over 7 rebounds per game for two seasons from 2006-2008. Last year as a sophomore Flowers was named first team All Foothill Conference and averaged 13.3 points and 7.2 rebounds per game helping the Eagles to a conference championship.
