Lady Eagle Athletes Honored by Kiwanis Club

Two MSJC women's student athletes were honored this week by the Hemet Valley Kiwanis Club as the organizations Athletes of the Month.kiwanisawards.jpg

Soccer player Cali Prentice and volleyball player Shavonne Lascelle earned the awards for their hard work and their teams' success so far this season.

Prentice has played in all 13 of the Lady Eagles soccer matches so far this year scoring a goal and earning an assist while helping her team to a 9-1-3 record.  Prentice is a sophomore from Hemet Tahquitz High School and was a member of last year's play-off qualifying soccer team.

Lascelle has helped the MSJC volleyball team to an 11-5 record on the season.  She is a freshman outside hitter and defensive specialist from Palm Springs.
