Lee Stephens an All Foothill Conference performer this past season for the Eagles basketball team has signed a National Letter of Intent with Augustana College in South Dakota.

"We are a team that went 22-9 last year reached the semis of the North Central Regional which produced the Division Two National Champion, and felt we needed somebody who plays hard and rebounds to help us get back there! We have been told by several coaches that Lee is a warrior on the floor and nobody will play harder which is what we feel we need", said Tom Billeter, head coach at Augustana.
"Lee has been a tremendous asset to our program over the past two years and I think he will have a big impact at the next level," said MSJC head coach Patrick Springer". "He is physical, he plays hard, and is a leader through his actions".
Stephens joins team mates, Tim Island (San Diego State) and Dejuan Flowers (North Dakota State) as sophomores moving on from an MSJC team that finished the year 26-7 and spent five weeks as the top ranked team in California.
