MSJC Soccer Shuts Out L.A. Harbor
The MSJC women's soccer team made it three in a row on Wednesday with a 3-0 victory over L.A. Harbor in Menifee.
Rachel Kick got three saves in goal for the Lady Eagles to improve her goals against average to 1.03 on the season ranking her 5th in the state. This game marked the team's second shut out of the season. Courtney Calder and Tracey Grobbel both scored goals on assists from Angelica Carpenter. Elizabeth Tapia also added an unassisted goal.
The Lady Eagles improved their record to 4-1-1 on the season, and return to action Friday at East L.A. College. MSJC will be at home in Menifee twice next week when they host Mira Costa on Monday the 17th at 3 pm, and also when they host El Camino at 4 pm on Wednesday the 19th. The game with El Camino is a change from the original schedule that had the Lady Eagles traveling to them.
