Brown was named both to the All Conference Team and the CCCAA All Southern California team for her efforts during her outstanding sophomore season.  On the field Brown hit .495 and collected 55 hits during a season in which the Lady Eagle softball team set the school record for victories with 22.  Brown's 495 average is the second highest in program history and her 55 hits is the third most in a single season by any MSJC softball player.  Off the field Brown excelled in the classroom, she is set to earn multiple AA degrees at the end of the month and maintained a 4.0 grade point average during her two years as a member of the team.  Brown is a graduate of Vista Murrieta High School.
