The MSJC women's basketball team opened the season Wednesday night (Nov. 14th) with a 61-43 victory over Grossmont College.

The Lady Eagles were led by Michelle Simmons and Jasmine Nyx.  Simmons had 18 points 7 rebounds and 7 assists while Nyx added 12 points and 14 rebounds.  MSJC stands at 1-0 on the season and are back in action next Wednesday Nov. 21st when they host Santa Ana College at 5:30 pm.
