Women's Tennis Picks up First Win of the Season

The MSJC Womens Tennis Team earned their first win of the season by defeating visiting Cuyamaca College last Thursday at the San Jacinto Campus. Amal Ben El Hadj remained undefeated in singles play and has yet to surrender a set in her match play thus far, she is also ranked #1 in singles by the ITA in southern california junior colleges. Nicole Lessley, Sahara Miller and Brittney Henderson all won in straight sets in singles play. Julie Wright also competed for the eagles in the #5 slot and lost a very hard fought match. Nicole and Amal also remained undefeated in doubles and are ranked #1 as a duo in the current ITA rankings.
