Women's Tennis Team Wins on Sophomore Day

MSJC women's tennis easily defeated Victor Valley College on Thursday, April 2nd on the MSJC courts.  Today was Sophomore day because this was the last home dual match at home for the sophomores Yesenia Lozano, Michelle Escamille, Melissa Valdez, and Cristina Garcia.  Each of these great women were presented with flowers and highlighted their successes on the court and in the classroom.  A special thanks goes to Chuck Sims (our number 1 fan) and the wonderful families who have been supporting the women's tennis team this year.

The doubles started easily with the three doubles team easily winning and only giving up 3 games between all doubles matches.  The singles started shortly afterwards with all the women convincingly winning.  The singles match of the day goes to Melissa Valdez for battling and winning even though she was under the weather.

The last match of the season is on the road with rival Riverside Community College on Friday, April 3rd.  This is the "Battle of Riverside County."  First serve is at 1pm.
